Hey Hey Hey GF...CONGRATULATIONS ON 1 YEAR!!!  I am soooo proud of you....just look at you!  You have been such an inspiration to me as well as a great mentor keeping me on track.  I just know 2010 will be a Fantabulous year for you and Ron ^_^

Today is Friday...and I am so ready for it.  I finished up my duties last nite for our carving club, turning books over to new treasurer today ( I hope!) and then the weekend is MINE!  Will probably spend Saturday getting m/h packed for trip north next week and Sunday will be church and then just relaxing. Need to get back to my daily walks, here at work and at home with the dogs.  This foggy weather, with no sunshine, is not exactly motivating weather.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...I hear So Cal is warm and sunny! I'm jealous!!!

Good Morning Barb,

Happy 1 year to you.  You have done so well, and 2010 will be an even better year.

I am off today, and this is my 1st of 5 off. I love it. I am heading to the gym here in a bit. I am sure my trainer will work me hard. I haven't been to the gym in a few weeks. I am going to feel it tomorrow. I don't know what else I am going to do today. Tomorrow is support group meeting, but not sure if I am going to make it, but tomorrow night, the hospital throws a party a "NEW YEAR NEW YOU". It is a pot luck so I need to make something to bring that is WLS friendly. It should be fun. Then after that, I am meeting some friends out. I think I will need to rest on Sunday. I also have a friend moving back to this area and should be here today or tomorrow.  I can't wait to see her. I haven't seen her since last January.  I hope everyone has a great day and weekend.

Hey Cali,

How's everyone doing?

Barb- Happy Surgiversery to you!  I have no doubt that you will make it to goal this year. 

Cali- I feel a lot better today vs. yesterday.  I took some medicine last night and felt alright.  Of course I did not want to run this morning ; I will have to run this evening.   
I told my brother that I did not want to meet with him this Sunday, due to fact that my sister might be there at church.  I don't particularly like my sister, and we don't get along, but because I have heard reports of her declining health recently, I decided to give her a call to with her Happy Holidays (after much pondering).   Well apparently, my number did not show up on her caller ID.  So I thought she did not want to talk to me and that us meeting would lead to a negative confrontation. So, I told my brother that I wanted to cancel, he was cool with it (I guess).  In the years before, he would push the issue, but now he respects my views and feelings.

The only things I have planned for this weekend is a Magic Body Sizing party on Saturday and a 9 mile run on Sunday (or Saturday depending on how I feel).

Kim, I totally understand about family.  I am the loner in mine.  I just don't really have a lot in common with my sisters or brother.  We tend to get along better if we stay away from each other.  (I know that doesn't make sense but it is true!)

Hey Elizabeth,

I am around, here and there.  Mostly there which is a great place to be,  So how are you???  I am hoping that you are taking good care of yourself.  I have been busy, running here running there, and enjoying all the life has to offer.  I think Dougie and I are going to be taking a cruise for my birthday this year.,  I found one for a couple of thousand for a suite for 8 days, and Doug don't have to fly.  We shall see, if it is still there in a couple of weeks then we will take it for next month. 

Doug is doing good, he is retired and happy.  He attended a funeral today for a friend of his that he worked with for almost 20 years.  This guy just died out of the blue, no reason, didn't feel good, on the way to the hospital, he died. Other than that, our life is good and we are happy, it's great being with him everyday!

Take good care of yourself, you never know when I will pop back in.  I hang where there is no drama, it's wonderful!  Love you....me
